My art is my passion and a dream come true.
With a camera and a paint brush, Leah captures the essence of nature. From majestic landscapes and it's wildlife to the subtle beauty of a trout filled stream, she finds inspiration in the quiet moments spent in nature. Whether its fly fishing on the White River in Arkansas to observing a snowcapped mountain in the Rockies of Colorado, through her art she seeks to share the beauty and wonder of the world around us.
Leah’s art work showcases a fusion of mixed media, oils and acrylics, on a variety of surfaces which includes canvas, hardboard, and wood panel. This approach allows her to experiment with diverse textures and techniques. Working out of her home studio, she creates realistic wildlife paintings that cannot be found in a photo.
Leah was born and raised in Arkansas. She is an avid lover of the outdoors. She enjoys being out in nature fly fishing or capturing nature with her camera. She loves to travel and spend as much time as she can in the great outdoors. It has became one of her biggest loves and influences.
Leah came from a family of talented artists. When she was young she would watch her grandmother paint in oils while she watched Bob Ross on television. She has always dreamed of creating beautiful paintings that reflected nature. Being influenced by great artists such as Robert Bateman, John Banovich, and Terry Redlin gave her the vision to push toward her dreams. Her dreams came true later in life when she decided to pick up a paint brush and start painting. Her art can now be found in many homes across America.
